almers canteen, where the sizzling steaks taste so good and the gravy is the best!
jude had heard of this canteen from me many times, and i also made sure that he will have a taste of my favorite sizzling spareribs that's why when opportunity permits, we dine out here. the last time we ate here was two weeks ago while on our way to jose abad santos in manila and i was surprised when jude asked me if i want to drop by almers... op kors!
this canteen fed me for the last four years of stay (that's college) in ust as i had no idea it exist when i was still in its high school. my college friends and i used to eat here every week or sometime, 3x a week! yes, that's how addicting their gravy is... yummy talaga! paging leah... alam ko nakakatatlong cups ka ng gravy nila... hahaha!
hope to eat in almer's more often, it not only satisfies my craving for their spareribs steak but just sitting inside this canteen brings back fond memories of my college days. =)
ay... don't think i've eaten here before... i think. sa p.noval ba 'to? kasi mas don kami sa p.noval kina mang tootz. :)
ReplyDeletereally? i thought almer's is also famous among cafa and eng students.. or baka nga eng lang kasi mas maraming eng students who go there during our time... yung mga binabakuran namin ang table para bilis-bilisan ang pagkain at umalis na because parang nananadya pa at tinatagalan ang pagkain. hehe. ang alam kong famous sa p. noval is lopez canteen but the last time i ate there was when i still in high school... and the thai resto.
