a peek of what happened last wednesday, 8 july 2009, the day our adorable little boy turned three years old...

actually, nothing grand happened as jude had to be in the office from 10 am to 2 am of the following day... yes, he's that busy as there's a major event in their office which he had to oversee. but he was able to meet us in the nearby shakey's branch to have lunch.

our handa for the little boy on that day--pizza, spaghetti and mojo potatoes. btw, jude had to remove his barong as his son was using like a hand towel. hehe.

we-were already a loyal customer of that shakey's outlet btw and the staff there know iñigo so well... probably because he's their only customer who demands for their crayons... that's why when i told them that it's iñigo's birthday that day they gave him a surprise...

a free sundae for the birthday boy =D

after our lunch, we headed on to our house for the much-awaited opening of iñigo's gift from daddy and mommy--the thomas the tank engine set!

iñigo resisted the urge to open that gift for more than a week as we bought that toy eight days before his birthday. i have to put that box though in a higher place... just to be sure. hehe.

we capped the day by going to greenbelt chapel at 6 pm, but that was after tugging him from his train set as he was really hooked and played with it for hours. thanks to the new toys he got from his party and the train set is temporarily taking a rest... and mommy's pocket too for the batteries. =)

next post... his 3rd birthday celebration in jollibee.

iñigo's unforgettable one-liner / laugh trip

time will come that i will already forget all about these so please let me post them while i still can...

“i’m so hungry, mommy! my tummy’s hurting… let’s eat donuts?” - upon seeing the mister donut outlet in front of our building. take note, we just had our breakfast before we went down.

"the boss (waiter) has a big tummy... just like daddy's..." - hehe. nadamay pa tuloy ang t'yan ng tatay.

"okay... mommy has no money again!" - after telling him that he can't ride the crawling animals inside glorietta (as i can't ride with him). he's probably used already with that line of mine. hehe. take note that were other people beside us when he said it that's why i consider that unforgettable.. talk about kahihiyan ng nanay.

"yey! we will ride the taxi... we have many money now!" - after telling him that we can ride the taxi instead of walking from the mall (greenbelt) to our building. again, there are a lot of passersby around us. gusto ko na magdala ng sako next time.... hahaha.

"that's daddy... mommy... where's iñigo? there's no inigo... there's no iñigo!" - awww.. he was already in tears when he ended that sentence. it was his daddy's fault as until now it's still our bf-gf days' picture which he displays in his wallet.

and lastly... i don't think we can forget this...

"you kiss mommy, daddy. i will now go outside." - bwahaha! i hope you already know what was happening that time. *wink*

iñigo asked me one morning about the sound he was hearing inside the room. "daddy is snoring", i said.

i thought it was nothing for him and didn't pay much attention to it. but i was surprised one day when he made a funny sound and said, "i also snore like daddy." he was imitating his daddy's snore! hehe. he thought it was soooo funny (his daddy's snore) that he can't continue doing his new skill as he was laughing so hard.

yun lang pow. =D
