simple joys of bonding

jude and i promised early this year that we will spare one weekend every month, whether it’s on a saturday or sunday, to treat our son outside the house. may it be in a mall or a park or zoo, it doesn’t matter as long as we, especially our little boy, will have fun. so when jude’s cousin canceled the supposed-to-be errand of them to cavite, we just decided to go out and kill our time inside a mall. after having a sumptuous lunch in paseo de sta. rosa, jude drove us to alabang town center as it already been ages since the last time we went there.

it was a time well spent inside the mall. we let him eat first his favorite food in his favorite fastfood joints--spaghetti of jollibee, what else? =D

after the spaghetti, we walked along ATC's hallways until we reached its rotunda. iñigo was mesmerized by the carousel in the play area and even climbed the gate rails so he can have a better look of the horses, which he kept on signing to tell us he knows how it is being called.

i even let him ride the carousel and he was happy and contented all the time he was sitting in one of the horses. and i was also filled with joy. simple things like this already brings me happiness, especially when i was already filling my tummy with go nuts donuts glaze lite… hay, sarap! as i’ve always said, it’s not on how much we spent but that bring us happiness. it’s that we’re all together and having fun that truly matter.
