i'm looking for some months now for a decent but not-so-pricery toddlers school for iñigo. we tried the little gym in alabang last august but the daddy opined that it's too far from cabuyao and it would be difficult for us to commute during the days that he can't drive me and the little boy. hence, i had to look somewhere else and unfortunately there's none here in cabuyao; at least, decent enough to entrust my son's education. we found a nice one in sta rosa, gymstatics, but luck doesn't seem to be on our side as it was already close when we visited the school months after.
how sad as iñigo seemed to be interested to go to that gym school. just look at the picture which i took out of fancy when we visited gymstatics when it was still open last september.
he was all set to go to school in that picture, right? he was ogling at the kids who were playing inside and i felt that he'd like to play with them. my poor kid! he had no playmates to speak of other than daddy and mommy. =(
and since that afternoon in gymstatics, the stage mommy in me has been trying to prep him up for school like getting him some worksheets such as coloring books so he can already hone his hand skills and creativity. look how keen he was on making his first masterpiece.
it's only the classmates and the playmates that's lacking, don't you think?
hay naku marie! yon din problem namin with kei... walang ibang makalaro kundi kami. ako din, i looked around for preschools and gulat kami sa mga presyo... mas mahal ang tution fee niya if ever kesa sa isang sem ko nong college ako... hehe. Kaya for the time being, we try to make it a point to take her to play gyms/day care centers at malls once in awhile para naman maexpose din siya sa mga ibang kids.
ReplyDeleteyou told it so, jah. ang pricey nga especially that one in alabang--toddlers unlimited. i hope to find a good school soon. i feel na schooling and interacting with other kids will help iñigo's socialization. buti ngayong he's mejo comfortable na being with other people because before isnabero.
ReplyDeletesame predicament here :-) our prob nga di lang mahal tuition fee where we are...tlagang ltd. ung choices namin. We're planning to do our rounds of school-hunting, mejo bz lang kc ang Daddy at the moment. May I ask how much is the fee now in NCR? what complicates our hunting pa is that Daddy wants him in a Chinese school. Eh, di ko masyado gusto. I went to one & sobrang rigid ng training. Parang it wont go with our gentle child-rearing ways.
ReplyDeletethe range is a bit wide... 30k to as high as 80k just for 2-3x a week sessions. me too.. as much as possible i don't want to make iñigo's first schooling rigid at baka ma-trauma. it's why daw some kids after a year or two tamad na pumasok. i just want him to enjoy while he learns new things. good luck to us, mommy bless!
ReplyDeleteinigo is so cute...ang mahal naman pala ng preschooling jan.
ReplyDeletethanks, jaja! yup and inggit ako sa 'yo because there in kuwait everything is free. =D
